What is Gigtime?
Gigtime is a time tracking and invoicing app for freelancers. You log hours against clients and projects, then turn those hours into invoices you can send by email as a PDF. It runs on the web, iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS, and your data stays in sync across all of them.
Most time trackers assume you'll remember to press a button before you start working. Gigtime doesn't. It's built around entry-based logging: at the end of the day (or the week), you type in what you worked on and for how long. There's still a timer if you want one — and it syncs live across your devices — but you're never punished for forgetting to start it.
What you can do with it
Track time. Log entries by day, week, month, or a custom date range. Mark hours billable or non-billable. Run the optional timer and stop it from any device.
Manage clients and projects. Keep client contact details, notes, and tasks in one place. Give each project its own hourly rate, service items, color, and optional weekly or monthly hour caps.
Invoice. Build invoices from your unbilled time, add taxes and discounts, apply deposits, and send them by email with a PDF attached. Gigtime tells you when a client opens the invoice email, and it can generate recurring invoices on a schedule.
Report. Charts and summaries show where your hours went, filtered by client, project, or billable status. Export reports as PDF or CSV, print them, or email them — on a schedule, if you like.
