The free trial

Every new Gigtime account starts with 30 days of Pro. There's nothing to activate and no credit card to enter — sign up and the trial is already running.

During the trial you get everything on the Pro plan: full reports, CSV import and export, scheduled reports, white-label invoicing, and no ads.

While the trial runs

A banner in the app reads "Pro Trial · Ends in X days — add payment to keep features", turning orange during the final week. It links to the subscription page, where you can upgrade whenever you're convinced.

When it ends

If you haven't subscribed by day 30, your account simply moves to the free plan. Nothing is charged — there's no payment method on file to charge — and none of your data goes anywhere. Entries, clients, invoices, and settings all stay put; you just lose access to the Pro features until you upgrade.

Anything Pro-specific pauses gracefully: scheduled reports stop sending, the Reports page limits itself to This Week, and invoice PDFs regain the Gigtime footer. Re-subscribing picks all of it back up.

Upgrading during the trial

You don't have to wait for the trial to end. Hit Upgrade on the banner (or open Subscription from the menu) and pick monthly or annual. Depending on the platform and current promotions, paid subscriptions may also start with their own introductory offer — the subscription page shows what applies.

One trial per person: the signup trial is tied to your email address, so deleting and recreating an account won't grant a second one.
