Notes and tasks
Every client and project has an Activity tab with two sections: Tasks and Notes. They're lightweight on purpose — a place for "send the contract renewal in March" and "client prefers calls after 2pm" without leaving the app.
Tasks
Click Add Task on a client's or project's Activity tab. A task has a title, an optional description, an optional project, a priority, and an optional due date.
Priorities are None, Low (blue), Medium (orange), and High (red), shown as a colored badge on the task. Due dates are color-coded in the list: red when overdue, orange when due today. Nearby dates display as Today, Tomorrow, or Yesterday.
Tick a task's checkbox to complete it — completed tasks show struck through. To change or delete a task, tap it to reopen the form; deletion is the red Delete button inside.
Tasks also show up in a couple of other places: each project on a client's Projects tab lists its tasks underneath it, and the clients list has a quick add-task icon on every row so you can jot down a to-do without opening the client first.
Notes
Notes work the same way, minus the workflow: click Add Note, give it an optional title and write the content. Notes can be attached to just the client or to a specific project. The list shows a title (or Untitled), a two-line preview, and how long ago it was written.
Notes are only visible to you. They never appear on invoices, reports, or anything a client sees.
