Reports overview
The Reports page turns your entries into an answer to "how is the business actually doing?" Pick a date range, optionally filter, and read.
Date ranges and filters
The Date Range selector offers This Week, Last Week, This Month, Last Month, This Quarter, This Year, and Custom (any start and end date). On the free plan only This Week is available; the other ranges are Pro.
Three filters narrow the data: Client, Project, and Billable (All / Billable / Non-billable). On desktop they sit inline at the top; on mobile they live behind a filter icon, with a badge showing how many are active. Picking a project automatically scopes the client to match.
Stat cards
Eight cards summarize the filtered period:
- Total Hours — everything logged.
- Billable % — the share of hours flagged billable, color-coded (green above 80%).
- Uninvoiced Hrs — billable time not yet on any invoice. Orange when it's piling up.
- Clients — how many clients you worked for in the period.
- Est. Revenue — hours × applicable rates.
- Invoiced — the total you billed in the period.
- Outstanding — invoiced but unpaid, red when above zero.
- Collection Rate — paid as a percentage of invoiced. Green from 90% up.
Charts
Hours Over Time — a bar per day, split into billable (green) and non-billable (gray). Hover or tap a bar for the exact figures.
Hours by Category — two donut charts, one sliced by client and one by project, each with total hours in the center and a legend with per-slice hours. Filtering by client hides the client donut (it'd be a single slice); filtering by project hides both.
Billable vs Non-Billable — a single horizontal bar showing the split with hours and percentages.
Hour Cap Status — a progress bar for every project with hour caps, so budget health is visible from one screen.
When you want the numbers outside the app — as a PDF, CSV, printout, or email — see Exporting and sharing. And if you send the same report to the same people on a rhythm, set up scheduled reports instead.
